Supermodel Heidi Klum chose Alexander McQueen cocktail dress
for a publicity shot for her TV Show, “Project Runway.” The dress is from
Spring 2008 ready-to-wear Collection shown in Paris in October 2007.
NEW YORK — Past couple of weeks Heidi Klum had been really busy in The Big Apple preparing for the next round of her popular fashion TV Show, “Project Runway.” Bravo! TV premieres the 5th season of the show this coming Wednesday at 9pm ET, PT / 8pm CT.
The 5th season of “Project Runway” features 16 contestants who will be hosted by Heidi Klum and judged by Michael Kors and Nina Garcia.
Tim Gunn, who is Chief Creative Officer at Liz Clarbone, Inc., will once again play the role of a mentor to the designers.
The show will also feature appearances as guest judges of some of the biggest names in fashion and movie industries including Diane Von Furstenberg, Sandra Bernhard, Apolo Ohno, Brooke Shields, LL Cool J, Ru Paul, Rachel Zoe, Cynthia Rowley and Francisco Costa.
NEW YORK — Swimsuit/lingerie model and surfer Marisa Miller turns her attention to footwear. Miller is collaborating with Vans to create the Vans by Marisa Miller line of shoes.
Vans by Marisa Miller will include high top sneaker, slip-on and sandal. Miller redesigned Vans Classic Slip-On LX and Vans Sk8-Hi LX and added an airbrush painting of her favorite shoreline landscapes. The sandals also show some of her favorite family beach photos on the sole.
The collection will be available from Vans and Urban Outfitters stores.
Marisa Miller and Vans are trowing a party to celebrate their collaboration at The Cabanas at the Maritime Hotel on July 16, 2008 from 8pm to 11pm.
