StyleBites: Jennifer Lopez Casual Chic
NEW YORK — Jennifer Lopez looked very chic on her recent trip to Rita Hazan hair calon.
Jennifer wore:
- Diva-grade oversized Gucci sunglasses — perhaps influenced by 60s or 70s sunglasses styles; CORRECTION: Lopez actually wearing Balenciaga sunglasses.
- Oversized hoop earrings which seem to be Jennifer’s all-time favorites;
- Chic length-cropped white jacket. Perhaps this jacket originates from Jennifer’s own fashion line, JustSweet. Although we are not 100% positive, jacket’s trim and lines resemble some of the jackets from JustSweet Spring 2008 collection. UPDATE: The jacket is actually Bensoni doubleknit cropped swing pea jacket;
- Bianca gunpowder grey bellbottom jeans from Jennifer’s JustSweet line — they are on sale for $39.99 on http://www.justsweet.com;
- Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps with cutout detail on sides. Nieman Marcus retails these shoes for $785;
- Finally, there’s the most important piece of Jennifer’s chic-but-casual outfit. It is white Zagliani Crocodile Puffy Satchel. Saks Fifth Avenue retails bag like this for $11800. The bag is designed by dermatologist-turned-designer Mauro Orietti-Carella who injects silicone into exotic skins like crocodile and snake to give it buttery-soft feel. Jennifer Lopez really likes Zagliani bags. In July 2007 she was spotted with another one — it was python skin bag in black color which retails on Intermix between $2865 and $3250.
