NEW YORK — “Gossip Girl” Episode 6 of Season 2, “New Haven Can Wait,” is all about Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen – specifically about their competitiveness that drives them apart almost destroying their friendship. It culminates in a big cat-fight between Blair and Serena. When it seems that nothing can salvage their friendship, Blair and Serena somehow manage to reconcile. No wonder, GG still has a few episodes to air.
These events take place at Yale University, but in real life the production company used Columbia University as backdrop while filming this episode.
So, let’s see how the girls stay competitive fashion-wise. XOXO
The above is from Blair Waldorf’s dream. The outfit is the mystery, but something else comes to mind. Who said this: “Ooh, baby, you are so talented! And they are so DUMB!” Obviously, Serena van der Woodsen dominates this scene in her Ralph Laurentiered white dress. Then Blair wakes up wearing an electric blue ruffled halter and sees a photo of Serena on Page Six of “New York Post.” Serena is wearing Diane von Furstenberg Iseletti vest, Nine West IceBlue boots, Rich & Skinny jeans, Gemma Redux SAS necklace and Celine bag.

NEW YORK — OK, here’s the next brick into our ”Gossip Girl” shrine.
Let’s take a closer look at GG episode 5, “The Serena Also Rises.” This episode, which happens during New York Fashion Week, definitely stands out. There are lots of apparel and accessories. Interesting, how many mystery items we are going to get? XOXO
NEW YORK– “Gossip Girl” Episode 4 of Season 2, “The Ex-Files,” marks the first day of school season and the first day of the senior year for GG people. As we begin this compilation we anticipate another explosion of fashion (including school uniforms) and drama which portrays Upper East side so well. We also intend to improve quality of images we post. While we did our best to ID as much as we could, there are still few mystery items — so, bear with us until we hear back from GG PR. XOXO
All right, boys in school uniform — so manly. While Chuck Bass (played by Ed Westwick) varies his uniform, Dan Humphrey (played by Penn Badgley) is wearing pretty much the same he was wearing last year. Maybe he even has the same bag (can’t remember).
Serena van der Woodsen (played by Blake Lively) considers not going to school because of her breakup with Dan but eventually does. Serena’s uniform is by French Toast combined with James Perse Mini Jersey (retails for $44), Maison Martin Margiela west, Ralph Lauren tartan skinny tie and floral ballet flats that look a lot like London Sole. She is also wearing beige Veronique Branquinho shoes. Serena’s grey leather bag and a scarf are still mystery items. Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana has very similar silk scarves though.
NEW YORK – Gossip Girl episode 3, “The Dark Night” premiered two weeks ago, and now, with regretful delay, we are going to fashion-deconstruct it. It’s better late than never, right? XOXO
Jenny Humphrey played by Taylor Momsen gets her hands full with her fashion internship. She is wearing a blue floral dress accessorized with a blue Katherine Kwei tote bag (retails for about $495) and a little peace dove necklace by Alex Woo. Zara has confirmed that Jenny’s dress is from their TRF section from their Spring/Summer 2008 Season.
Serena van der Woodsen played by Blake Lively is wearing in this scene a tie-dye jersey tank top by Young Fabulous & Broke, James Jeans, Havaianas flip-flops, Rebecca Minkoff clutch in sea green. Meanwhile Dan Humphrey played by Penn Badgley wears Ted Baker top and Levi’s Jeans.
NEW YORK — OK, this is the last ever post on BLAIR WALDORF style from “Gossip Girl” episode 1 of season 2, “Summer, Kind of Wonderful,” which premiered last Monday. We believe we scooped out pretty much everything on Leighton Meester character’s fashion. So, now we are waiting impatiently for the second episode.
